Job Title:
General Laborer -
Lawn & Soil Health Compensation:
$18.00 - $20.00 / hour (Based on experience, enthusiasm, and willingness to work)
Job Type:
Full-Time / Part-Time [Adjust as needed] About the Role We are a specialized lawncare company focused on premium soil health and cool-season turf management. We are looking for an energetic, hardworking General Laborer to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a positive attitude, and are willing to put in the effort, we will train you on the rest. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, assisting with everything from fall aeration and seeding to supporting our treatment technicians in the field.
Key Responsibilities Aeration & Seeding:
Perform core aeration and assist with seeding treatments for Tall Fescue turf during the fall season.
Operations Support:
Assist technicians on their routes for our 7-treatment and 11-treatment turf packages, including loading and unloading materials, fertilizer, and equipment.
Supplemental Services:
Provide hands-on labor for tree and shrub care, as well as applying carbon and lime soil amendments.
Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance:
Ensure trucks, trailers, and equipment are clean, fueled, and organized for the day's work.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a professional attitude while on clients' properties.
Requirements Transportation:
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Driving Record:
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is strictly required.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs (bags of seed/fertilizer) and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work Ethic:
A strong willingness to work, learn, and hustle. Enthusiasm is just as important to us as past experience!
Experience:
Previous landscaping or lawncare experience is a plus, but we are absolutely willing to train the right candidate who brings great energy to the team.
