Job Description
Job Overview:
The General Laborer works closely with management to maintain the facilities, add support to projects, procure materials, keep machines running, and do many odd jobs. This person will help where needed, be trustworthy, reliable, a quick learner, do what needs to be done to get the job done, and shouldn't be afraid to get their hands dirty. Responsibilities & Duties (include, but are not limited to):- Will work closely with management to add valuable support to projects.
- Provide support to help manufacture and build custom parts and components for projects with various plastics, metal and wood working processes.
- Would be doing welding, fabricating, machining, custom crating and equipment maintenance as well as some building maintenance and groundskeeping type jobs.
- In charge of the upkeep and maintenance of the facility, machinery, etc.
- The mechanical technician will be a "jack of all trades" type, and should expect to fill in any gaps, and do what it takes to get projects done. Qualifications (include, but are not limited to):
- Must be reliable, on-time, and ready to work each day in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid drivers' license and reliable transportation as employee may need to drive company vehicles, and/or drive between buildings.
- Should have good attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, enjoy learning new things, be creative, and possess the ability to think "outside of the box."
- Person must be able to multi-task.
- Must have experience working with basic hand tools (drills, Dremel, saws, air tools, etc.), lathes, welding equipment, and so on. No specific experience required and we are willing to train the right individual to use all things needed to do job.
- Prefer you would be able to read basic prints/blueprints, and measurements.
- Ability to work in a team environment, but also work consistently on your own.
- Would prefer to hire someone who has a passion for working on race cars, cars, trucks, farm equipment, etc.
