Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver / Helper and become an essential part of our delivery operations! This energetic role combines safe driving with hands-on assistance in loading, unloading, and managing deliveries. You'll be the friendly face representing our company on the road, ensuring timely and professional service to our valued customers. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck while adhering to all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Assist with loading and unloading goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Load, secure, and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices Deliver products to customers' locations using route driving skills, maintaining punctuality and professionalism Provide excellent customer service by interacting courteously with clients during deliveries Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch Help with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including moving inventory and supporting warehouse staff Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving manual handling and heavy lifting Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks preferred Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is a plus; ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is desirable Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe lifting practices to ensure compliance and safety at all times Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients Ability to handle physical tasks involving weight handling in the workplace safely and efficiently Comfortable working with mobile devices for route management and communication This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your driving skills while contributing directly to our customer satisfaction goals.
