Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Specialist to join our dynamic logistics and warehouse operations team. The Material Specialist will be responsible for managing the efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials within the warehouse environment. This role is essential in ensuring accurate inventory management, safe operation of heavy equipment, and seamless shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive warehouse experience, proficiency with material handling equipment, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to streamlined operations and support the company's supply chain excellence. Material Specialist will be responsible for processing material in and out of stock, ability to count and label material and process paperwork with accuracy and good detail. Will be required to perform kit audits, verification of AVL'S, assist in prep. Will also need to be able to use automated x-ray equipment to count parts. Min. 2 years experience in manufacturing warehouse (electronics warehouse a plus) Proficient Microsoft Excel skills Must be able to multi-task and be a team player Basic computer skills required High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be accurate and detailed in counting and paperwork Able work overtime as needed US Citizenship required
