Job Description
Position Transportation Specialist Location Montgomery, AL Requirements:
Support managing total of 540 container chassis to keep them in operable condition at all times. Check yearly DOT inspection status and follow up on any DOT issues. and Organize all the record and data. Follow up on any incidents and issues that may arise in chassis operation. Manage chassis usage data for various 540 chassis usage status. Manage DOT inspection forms, and any other documents related to chassis. Verify customer data and vendor invoices. Prepare invoice and check requests. Support managing bulk tank transportation from Lotte Chemical Alabama/Daeha America. Follow up on any incidents and issues arise in operation. Manage load status and schedule accordingly requested by the customer. Create and process monthly AR/AP invoices. Manage yearly contract status, insurance status, PO, approvals, etc. Organize documents in each folder, and keep up with the status report. Support. managers by preparing various raw data, analyze, etc. Work with department managers if any support is needed.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Skilled in MS Office; able to review, analyze quality data and report quality status in progress.
- Highly organized, efficient and committed to develop current process; able to drive quality improvement and enhance the automotive manufacturing environment.
- Automotive and logistics industrial experience.
- Professional-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Supervisory experience with a proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making skills.
- Confident, friendly, eager, self-motivated, and diligent.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other departments, teams and customers.
- Ability to read, write, and speak both Korean and English fluently.
Pay Range:
$55,000- 59,000
