Understanding of chain-of-custody and chain-of-possession protocols. Ability to prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain orderly storage and work environments. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to safely lift and move IT equipment within reasonable limits. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate across multiple teams. Proficiency with asset management software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a government or public-sector environment. Familiarity with state surplus property and disposal regulations. Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) frameworks such as:

ITIL, ISO/IEC

19770, Other industry-recognized asset management standards Previous experience in procurement, inventory control, logistics, or related operational functions. Education and Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree in: Information Technology, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Related field Experience Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in IT asset management, inventory control, logistics, procurement, or a related operational role. Physical Requirements Ability to safely lift, carry, and move IT equipment and related materials within reasonable limits. Ability to perform periodic physical inventory counts in office, storage, and warehouse environments. Work Environment This position works closely with IT, procurement, finance, security, and operational teams to ensure the effective management, accountability, and compliance of technology assets throughout their lifecycle. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, organization, and accountability in handling agency-owned equipment and inventory records.
