Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control / Shipping Logistics for a golf cart / LSV manufacturer. The main function of this position is to inspect assembled units according to our QC guidelines, and to fulfill vehicle orders and prepare them for shipment to various dealers on the west coast. Duties also include maintaining accurate vehicle and battery inventory counts. Duties Conduct comprehensive quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as height gauges, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Perform regular quality audits in accordance with

ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP

(Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations to ensure compliance across all production stages. Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and technical drawings to accurately assess product conformity. Utilize vision inspection systems and other advanced measurement tools to identify defects or deviations from quality standards in manufactured components. Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, process deviations, and inspection results to support continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with production teams to address non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and verify resolution effectiveness. Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance by ensuring adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards and legal requirements governing manufacturing processes. Support shipping logistics by verifying order accuracy, preparing documentation, and coordinating timely dispatch of products while ensuring packaging meets quality standards. Skills Strong knowledge of quality management systems including

ISO 9001, ISO

13485, GMP, and FDA regulations. Proficiency in using calibration tools such as height gauges, dial indicators, and vision inspection systems for precise measurements. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and manufacturing specifications. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards related to medical devices or manufacturing industries. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and apply quality standards during inspection processes. Basic math skills for measurement calculations, data analysis, and documentation review. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analysis skills for identifying root causes of defects or deviations. Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams on quality issues and process improvements. Knowledge of calibration procedures for measuring instruments like height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision systems.
