As Logistics Specialist , you will be an integral member of Xona's Supply Chain organization, coordinating the movement of hardware, equipment, and materials across our business. You will support domestic and international shipments for satellite manufacturing, engineering, product development, customer demonstrations, business development, marketing events, and other company activities. A key part of this role will be owning day-to-day shipment execution, including packing, carrier and freight-forwarder coordination, shipping documentation, customs support, tracking, and delivery follow-through. You will work cross-functionally to ensure critical hardware arrives safely, compliantly, and on schedule. The role will also support receiving, inventory, kitting, and material movement on the production floor as needed. Responsibilities Coordinate domestic and international shipments of flight hardware, engineering hardware, test equipment, product demonstration units, marketing materials, and other company property. Serve as a primary logistics point of contact for teams across the organization, including Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, Quality, Product, Business Development, and Marketing. Plan and execute shipments supporting customer demonstrations, trade shows, field testing, supplier activities, and other off-site events, including international movements and return logistics. Select appropriate shipping methods and coordinate with parcel carriers, freight forwarders, couriers, brokers, and other logistics providers based on schedule, cost, handling, and shipment requirements. Support international customs clearance by providing accurate shipment values, descriptions, country of origin, HTS classifications, ECCN information, Incoterms, and other required documentation. Coordinate temporary exports, return shipments, repairs, supplier shipments, and other non-standard logistics movements as required. Pack, crate, label, and prepare sensitive hardware and equipment for shipment in accordance with applicable handling, ESD, FOD, export, and quality requirements. Perform incoming receiving processes for hardware, electronic components, raw materials, and other production materials, including quantity verification, packing-list documentation, and management of partial receipts. Support inventory transactions, cycle counts, material issuance, and reconciliation for flight hardware and production materials. Kit and issue inventory to manufacturing, integration, engineering, and test teams in accordance with BOMs, work orders, and production requirements. Maintain organized and controlled inventory, staging, shipping, and receiving areas in accordance with 5S, ESD, FOD, and applicable material-handling requirements. Support production-floor material movement and coordinate urgent or time-sensitive material transfers as needed. Operate motorized lift equipment, pallet jacks, cranes, and lifting fixtures. Adhere to applicable safety, quality, trade compliance, ESD, FOD, and configuration-control requirements and contribute to a safe, organized, and collaborative work environment. Desired Qualifications 2-4 years of logistics, shipping and receiving, materials, supply chain operations, or related experience in aviation, space, defense, electronics, manufacturing, or another high-reliability industry. Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments, including time-sensitive or high-value hardware. Experience working with parcel carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other transportation providers. Experience preparing international shipping documentation and supporting customs clearance. Familiarity with HTS classifications, ECCN basics, country of origin, Incoterms, commercial invoices, and controlled-item handling. Familiarity with export-controlled hardware and U.S. trade compliance requirements is preferred. Experience packing and handling sensitive, high-value, ESD-sensitive, serialized, or configuration-controlled hardware. Experience with receiving, inventory transactions, cycle counts, material issuance, and reconciliation. Experience working from BOMs, work orders, kit lists, and production schedules. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory-management software. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 or AS9100. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in shipping documentation, customs information, inventory records, and material transactions. Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous shipments with different destinations, deadlines, and handling requirements. Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and external partners. Ability to identify shipping risks, delays, documentation issues, and material discrepancies and drive them to resolution with appropriate stakeholders. Flexibility and adaptability to evolving program schedules, customer needs, events, production priorities, and urgent shipping requirements. Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and support the scale-up of logistics systems, processes, and software. Able to manage long durations of standing, grasping, sitting, pulling, and physical bending movements to support shipping, receiving, manufacturing, and test activities. Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs unassisted. For U.S.
