Job Description

The company develops wearable telemetry devices with integrated biometric sensors designed to continuously monitor human vitals and other indicators for medical and healthcare applications. These devices, together with Vivalink's related healthcare software products and services, are offered to enterprise customers under a platform as a service model. Medical Device Logistics Specialist Role The Medical device Logistic specialist plays a key role in enabling the success of Vivalink's post-salessupport, which includes customer logistics support and delivery of medical device products and replacements to Vivalink customers. Specifically, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for logistics, import / export of Medical device products, helping with customs clearance, and reverse logistics of RMA returns from customers. This role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience with international shipments of medical devices, including managing carriers and helping with imp/exp. documents and customs clearance. A clear understanding of country-specific requirements for medical device shipments is also needed. Responsibilities Working closely with Vivalink 's Operations, Customer success and Project Management, Finance, and Quality teams, this logistic specialist will focus more on shipments of medical devices/kits to support international clinical trials business while managing our ERP systems. Systematically manage the progress status and delivery of Vivalink's medical devices/kits in addition to other sensor products for Clinical trial projects. Represent the Operations team in customer meetings. Attending customer meetings as needed and providing provide responds responses related to shipping/logistic (i.e. requests, concerns, issues, status) according to customer requirements. Attending customer meetings as needed and providing responses related to shipping/logistic (i.e. requests, concerns, issues, status) Monitor the status of all shipments from shipping to delivery. flag risks, and resolve issues.. Proactively work with customers on the detailed paperwork requirements and help resolve any customs clearance issue for international shipments. Actively monitor international shipments on the carrier website (fedex, or...) to timely support on customs clearance and delivery issue. Make sure that shipping notifications are correct and timely sent out to Clinical Trial customers. Make sure that the provisioning team updates all trackers (decommission, shipping, …) in a timely manner. Optional additional tasks: Managing ERP activities: o Receiving units into our inventory. o Work with Finance AP/AR to release all shipments. o Accurately entering and tracking POs and agreements for processing. o Ensure the complete shipping records for all shipments (shipment notice, tracking number, shipment content, lot and serial numbers, address details, ship date, …) o Regularly monitor the inventory in ERP for accuracy. o Update or fine-tune the ERP systems, as needed, to ensure adequate performance and accurate documents/forms. o Work with ERP on portal summaries to replace the excel trackers eventually.
