Job Description
Project Specialist - Bilingual Mandarin or Spanish A growing company is seeking a Project Specialist to support new product development, overseas manufacturing, supply chain coordination, and customer projects. This role will work closely with overseas factories, internal teams, and customers to manage projects from product development and costing through production and delivery. Must-Haves Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese/Or Spanish, both written and verbal. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, International Business, or a related field preferred. Experience working with overseas manufacturers, particularly in Asia. Strong understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, product development, and supply chain processes. Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across different time zones. Key Responsibilities Coordinate new product development with overseas factories, including product specifications, samples, testing, costing, and project timelines. Work directly with manufacturers to monitor production schedules, capacity, raw materials, and delivery status. Analyze product costs, including raw materials, labor, packaging, freight, tariffs, and other supply chain expenses. Monitor inventory, forecasts, purchase orders, and supply chain risks to help ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with customers regarding product specifications, project status, lead times, quality questions, and other product-related inquiries. Coordinate between customers, factories, and internal Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Sales teams. Assist with product issues, specification changes, customer complaints, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, International Business, or a related field preferred. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese/Or Spanish, both written and verbal. Experience working with overseas manufacturers, particularly in Asia. Understanding of manufacturing, sourcing, product development, and supply chain processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers across different time zones. Willingness to travel occasionally and work outside standard business hours as needed to coordinate with international teams and suppliers. Preferred Experience Experience with disposable medical devices, medical consumables, healthcare products, or other regulated products. Experience with OEM/private-label manufacturing. Experience with product costing, supplier management, forecasting, inventory planning, or international logistics.
