This is a key role within our manufacturing operation, responsible for developing and maintaining an achievable production schedule that balances customer demand, plant capacity, material availability, production efficiencies, and operational constraints. What You'll Do As our Production Planner, you will work closely with Production, Purchasing, Supply Planning, Warehousing, and other plant teams to keep production running efficiently and customer requirements on track.

Your responsibilities will include:

Develop, maintain, and release daily and weekly production schedules. Ensure production plans meet customer requirements while accounting for capacity, code dates, space, material availability, changeovers, batch sizes, and other plant constraints. Work closely with manufacturing throughout the day to adjust schedules based on actual operating conditions, production rates, downtime, CIP requirements, material availability, and other unplanned events. Maintain production forecasts and planning information to support purchasing and material requirements. Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure necessary supplies are available to support the production schedule. Schedule fluid requirements and ensure adequate milk and cream supply to support production. Enter, close, and research production orders in Microsoft Dynamics AX/DAX. Review and help maintain accurate planning and production master data, including BOMs, recipes, resources, and production versions. Partner with the Supply Network Planning team to ensure future production requirements accurately reflect plant capacity and constraints. Participate in weekly customer planning calls and communicate changes or issues that may affect customer demand. Prepare and distribute production schedules, planning notes, reports, and other operational information. Assist with month-end planning activities and other production planning responsibilities as needed. Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field. Production planning or scheduling experience within food or beverage manufacturing is strongly preferred . Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/DAX is preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly working with spreadsheets. Ability to understand production capacity, material requirements, scheduling constraints, and changing operational priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Supply Planning, and other cross-functional teams. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to remain organized and make sound decisions when priorities or production conditions change. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but the Company will consider candidates with a high school diploma and relevant college coursework and/or equivalent experience. Why Ninth Avenue Foods?
