Glovis America makes every effort to exceed standards by providing quality service to our customers and vendors of the automotive, freight forwarding, parts distribution, used car, and fuel industries. We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies. Summary The WC W&D Administrator, Freight Forwarding position focuses on overseeing all aspects of managing international shipping documentation, track active cargo, and ensure compliance with import and export regulations. This role is responsible for supporting the team with shipments to minimize cost while maximizing profit for Glovis as well as to ensure that all customer inquiries are responded to promptly and professionally. Responsibilities Manage, plan, and evaluate daily operations in collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers. Tracks orders and shipments and assist with tracing as needed. Analyze the volume of inbound shipments by managing daily ETA and tracking reports with customers, distributing delivery schedules with carriers, reporting supply chain interruptions to internal and external accounts, and supporting and maintain supply chain issues Monitor transportation quality, quantity, delivery times, and costs, resolving issues promptly. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve transportation effectiveness. Foster a customer-focused, positive work environment based on trust and respect by addressing various internal and external customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, status, services, carriers, and other needs Maintain confidentiality regarding driver issues, rates, customers, and proprietary information. Assist in optimizing asset management and business utilization to minimize operational expenses. Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure trucks and trailers comply with federal, state, and local laws. Provide backup support to terminal supervision and administrative staff. Coordinate urgent container deliveries to ensure production lines of the customers Supervise partners to ensure operations meet customer expectations safely and in compliance with regulations. Implement schedule and policy changes in collaboration with management. Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times Manage shipments end-to-end, from origins to delivery for International Ocean, Air, and Domestic shipments. Communicate all expectations to Carriers Pay extra attention to special requirements; assure the carrier can meet all requirements. Receive and process various documents for accuracy, which require operational knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures. Enter various operational/customer data in systems, working to identify missing or potential operational or service concerns, and communicate with appropriate groups as necessary to resolve. Assists with running and summarizing operational reports and details; presents information to co-workers or supervisors are needed.Coordinate with various departments:
