Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting all areas of production. You will work closely with all departments to ensure seamless project execution, from purchasing material to tracking projects through the production process. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers, vendors, and service providers to ensure all job requirements are met. Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and meet customer specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine material and manufacturing requirements. Effectively manage the project planning process to ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and manpower for smooth project execution. Work directly with suppliers to purchase project materials and services. Maintain organized documentation, from CNC programs to shipping paperwork. Generate reports and complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment doing similar work. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong sense of ownership and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication. Positive attitude and willingness to learn; coachable and adaptable to change. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and material requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Position requires personnel to be on site. Our hours are 7am to 3:30pm.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Willing to wear required PPE and follow all shop safety protocols. Comfortable working on an active manufacturing shop floor.
Nice To Haves:
Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management field. Proficiency in SolidWorks. Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
