$85,000 to $100,000 About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join a growing organization in Vernon, CA. This onsite role is responsible for forecasting product demand, analyzing inventory trends, supporting supply chain planning, and collaborating with Sales, Operations, Production, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability. The ideal candidate will have experience in the textile, apparel, fabric, consumer goods, manufacturing, or related industry , along with strong analytical and forecasting skills. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, customer demand, and business intelligence. Partner with Sales, Production, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives. Monitor inventory levels and forecast accuracy to minimize stock shortages and excess inventory. Analyze sales trends, customer purchasing behavior, and seasonal fluctuations to support business planning. Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and provide forecasting recommendations. Generate recurring demand planning reports, inventory analyses, and KPI metrics. Identify demand risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with Purchasing and Production teams to support material and inventory planning. Monitor forecast performance and continuously improve forecasting methodologies. Support new product launches, promotions, and customer-specific demand planning initiatives. Maintain accurate planning data within ERP, MRP, and inventory management systems. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Statistics, or related field. 3+ years of demand planning, inventory planning, supply chain planning, forecasting, or production planning experience. Experience in the textile, apparel, fabric, fashion, consumer products, manufacturing, or related industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis. Experience with ERP, MRP, forecasting, or inventory planning systems. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Experience supporting textile manufacturing, apparel production, fabric distribution, or consumer products environments. Experience participating in S&OP processes. Knowledge of inventory management best practices and supply chain planning methodologies. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and analytics tools.
