$18.00 per hour during the 90-day probationary period, increasing to $19.00- 22.
- Receive incoming shipments from carriers, vendors, and delivery services
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for carrier drivers while they are at our facility, including greeting them and assisting with incoming deliveries and outgoing pick-ups as needed
- Unbox, inspect, document, and accurately sort incoming products
- Compare received products against purchase information and identify discrepancies involving model, specifications, quantity, condition, or functionality
- Identify defective, downgraded, not-as-described, or materially different items and manage the vendor-return process, including documenting issues, requesting returns or replacements, and helping track refunds or resolutions
- Identify devices enrolled in Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems associated with previous organizations, verify ownership and lock status, and ensure restricted or unusable units are returned to the appropriate vendor or organization before being accepted into inventory
- Perform pre-cleaning and basic preparation of electronic devices before technician assembly or servicing
- Process customer returns across supported marketplaces by reviewing return reasons, confirming condition, updating records, and coordinating the appropriate disposition of returned products
- Maintain accurate organization and documentation as products move through receiving and inventory workflows Shipping & Fulfillment
- Prepare and ship customer orders, marketplace shipments, vendor returns, defective-product returns, and other outbound packages
- Create and print accurate shipping labels and packing slips
- Verify shipping addresses, order information, carrier services, and physical products before shipment
- Use packaging and recording software to document and verify products
- Select appropriate packaging materials and securely package laptops, desktops, electronics, parts, and accessories
- Schedule carrier pick-ups for shipments not covered by existing daily routes
- Communicate directly with carrier drivers regarding deliveries, scheduled collections, package volume, and special pick-up requirements when necessary
- Organize completed packages for scheduled carrier collection
- Photograph and document every outgoing shipment, including vendor returns , according to the established process before the package leaves our facility Shipment Photo Documentation Photo documentation is a required part of every outgoing shipment. These records allow us to support claims and recover losses involving:
- Carrier loss or damage
- Vendor and marketplace disputes
- Defective products
- Incorrect products
- Products received in a lower specification or condition than ordered
- Materially different items
- Packaging and return-condition disputes The photography process itself is straightforward and will be taught during training.
The important expectation is consistency:
if a package is leaving our facility, the required photographs and documentation must be completed before shipment. Because these records can determine whether we are able to recover losses from vendors, carriers, or marketplaces, this is a critical responsibility of the position. Quality Control & Technical Review During the pre-shipment process, this position will:- Inspect products for overlooked cosmetic damage
- Ensure devices are clean and free of fingerprints, smudges, dust, and debris
- Verify batteries are functioning properly
- Confirm products match the packing slip, shipping label, and order information
- Confirm required shipment photographs and records have been completed
- Watch for anything damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent before shipment When an issue extends beyond basic cleaning or visual inspection:
- Stop the shipment when necessary
- Communicate the concern to a technician or manager
- Return defective or questionable units for re-examination
- Ensure compromised inventory is not shipped until functionality has been confirmed For example, if a laptop works while connected to a charger but will not operate properly on battery power, it should be returned to a technician rather than shipped.

- Supporting technicians Marketplace listing work may include creating or updating listings for parts and fully assembled computers across platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Newegg, and Walmart, including accurate descriptions and product specifications.
- Reuse incoming boxes and shipping materials whenever they remain suitable for safe and professional outbound shipping
- Save and organize reusable boxes, padding, packing paper, air pillows, and other appropriate incoming packaging materials for future shipments
- Recycle or dispose of packaging materials that are damaged or unsuitable for reuse
- Break down excess packaging materials and operate a cardboard shredder
- Monitor packaging and operational supply levels
- Place routine supply orders as needed so shipping and receiving operations remain properly stocked
- Identify upcoming supply needs before materials run out
- Remove excess waste and maintain a clean work area
- Vacuum shipping and common areas as needed after package processing and box breakdown
- Receive supply orders at the loading dock
- Use the freight elevator to transport supplies, products, and packaging materials to the suite
- Maintain organized shipping stations, shelves, receiving areas, and workspaces We believe in making responsible use of materials whenever practical.
- Greet or direct a walk-in customer
- Notify the manager on duty that a customer has arrived
- Direct the customer to the appropriate employee QualificationsWhat We're Looking For A strong candidate will have:

- Comfort using a camera or mobile device for shipment documentation
- Comfort working with laptops, desktops, electronics, parts, and computer components
- Comfort standing, walking, bending, lifting, unpacking, packaging, and moving products throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities Experience in shipping, receiving, electronics, computers, inventory management, e-commerce, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.

- Demonstrate punctuality, communication, consistency, and attention to detail The first 30 days are primarily about learning our systems, understanding why our procedures are important, and developing good habits. By 60 Days — Handle Routine Work Independently The employee should be able to:
- Independently manage routine receiving and shipping tasks
- Properly package common products
- Create accurate labels and packing slips
- Consistently complete required shipment documentation without reminders
- Perform routine quality-control inspections
- Process common vendor returns
- Coordinate routine carrier interactions and schedule non-routine pick-ups when necessary
- Properly escalate technical concerns
- Monitor commonly used shipping supplies and place routine orders when needed
- Stay organized and manage time effectively as daily priorities change By 90 Days — Own the Regular Workflow The employee should be able to:
- Manage the majority of the regular shipping, receiving, and related logistics workflow with minimal supervision
- Plan and prioritize daily responsibilities without requiring constant direction
- Reliably handle higher-volume days while maintaining accuracy
- Maintain high inventory accuracy and low processing-error rates
- Identify shipping, vendor, product, or compliance risks
- Independently manage routine vendor-return follow-up
- Communicate proactively with technicians, management, and other team members when something affects their work or requires attention
- Demonstrate reliability, efficiency, organization, time management, and ownership of responsibilities By this stage, the expectation is not that the employee works without support.
- 22.00 per hour rate agreed upon at the time of hire based on relevant experience that can be verified through professional references. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting the position's performance expectations during the probationary period, including:
