Job Description

Construction shop and logistics personnel manage the flow of materials, tools, and equipment. They oversee supply chain operations, coordinate daily deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory in the shop. Their main goal is to prevent project delays by ensuring the right resources arrive exactly when needed. Willing to Train the right person.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Control:
Track all tools and materials entering or leaving the shop.
Material and Equipment Delivery:
Deliver materials and equipment to job sites and shop.
Equipment Management:
Inspect, service, and maintain hand tools and equipment.
Site Coordination:
Work with Project Managers to align material deliveries with daily building tasks.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure the shop and job sites meet local safety rules.
Key Skills and Requirements Organization:
Must handle detailed spreadsheets and tracking software.
Communication:
Must coordinate well with suppliers, crews, and managers.
Problem Solving:
Must quickly resolve shipping delays and material shortages.
Physical Ability:
Must often lift heavy objects and work in varied weather. Forklift Certified CDL-A plus but NOT required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
