The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies procedures and guidelines performs activities associated with the delivery of supply and distribution services and assist in resolution of routine problems and process and improvements. Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
High School Diploma or GED required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, maintain a driving record free of any violations and pass a safe driving educational program upon hire and annually thereafter in order to participate in the Fleet Vehicle Program.
EXPERIENCE
Twelve (12) months or more experience in an inventory management setting, warehouse, stock department, requisition ordering, or receiving supplies environment in order to gain a working knowledge of operation and procedures.
COMPETENCIES
Ability to obtain needed certification(s) from manufacturers and from technology accrediting organizations is required. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and clearly with co-workers in the English language. A basic level of skill in the use of Microsoft Windows-based WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK software programs. Ability to learn and utilize department specific software. Ability to work with minimal supervision from management to complete all tasks with accuracy and in a timely fashion. We take great care of careers.
