About the Opportunity As Monin's Demand/Production Planner, you will support production with daily production scheduling, planning, and various operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be key in optimizing inventory, creating detailed reports, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to forecast demand accurately. What You'll Do Assist the Master Production Planner with daily production scheduling and planning to ensure efficient production operations. Create ad-hoc reports as needed to support planning and operational decision-making. Support inventory optimization initiatives, including coordinating transfers of goods between manufacturing and warehousing. Facilitate effective communication with the Purchasing and Manufacturing departments to align production with supply chain requirements. Forecast demand for a subset of SKUs, contributing to accurate production and inventory management. Generate reports to identify at-risk and discard items, reducing waste and improving efficiency. Create ad-hoc reports for the Demand Planning Manager to support strategic planning. Assist the Demand Planning (DP) Manager with system upgrades, ensuring the production planning system remains cutting-edge and functional. Assist the DP Manager in maintaining strong and effective communication with the Purchasing department, enhancing supply chain coordination. Other Qualifications & Considerations Bachelor's degree or a minimum of one year of experience in demand planning. A solid understanding of fundamental supply chain concepts. Exceptional ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization. Prior exposure to ERP systems is advantageous, with a preference for experience in MS Navision. Experience with demand planning software (e.g., Logility, Demand Solutions, SAP, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Demantra, or JDA). Previous involvement in Sales & Marketing analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience in manufacturing or production planning/scheduling. A general understanding of inventory management and warehousing principles.
