Job Description:

The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator will schedule all inbound/outbound shipments, and strive to keep transportation costs in addition, he/she will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates. Responsible for managing all shipping schedule activities. Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments. Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs. 1. Manage Imports (Raw materials, machinery, parts), and interaction with Customs Brokers 2. Responsible for having POA and Export/Import Permits in place. 3. Handle/issue documentation for Exports (Pro-forma Invoice, Shipper Letter of Instructions 4. Issue Export Health Certificates with government agencies (i.e., NOAA, FDA). 5. Manage the day-to-day logistics operation, inbound of raw materials 6. Resolve issues and complaints with carriers. 7. Negotiate rates with Freight Forwarders and carriers. 8.
