Job Description

Position Description:
Upon hire, the candidate will be assigned to one of the three departments within the Development.
Group:
Technical Development, Purchasing Control, or Planning Dept. A Coordinator - Development Group assists with a wide range of operational tasks, from product development through the initial stages of production. Depending on the assigned department, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Creating production plans Generating work orders Issuing Purchase Orders (POs) Communicating with vendors Tracking order progress Collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Inventory, Accounting, Marketing, and SCM departments to secure required materials by established deadlines, incorporate them into production plans, and handle the core preparations prior to full-scale mass production. Ultimately, they are responsible for assembling and preparing the necessary documentation to ensure a smooth transition of products to the Manufacturing Group.
Position Requirements:
Must be computer proficient. Strong experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to perform various tasks related to production planning, purchasing/procurement, or product development, depending on the assigned department. Inherently talented at calmly handling multiple changing priorities and competing deadlines. Ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and successfully work as a team to provide solutions. Ability to work independently with initiative while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. Strong English speaking and writing skills for daily communication with managers, communication with vendors, and cross-team collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with forecasting or data analysis is preferred.

From $15.00 per hour
