FIRE WATCHER

Automation Personnel Services is looking for dependable and observant employees for a rapidly expanding company based in Dalton, Georgia. These attentive employees will monitor welders, remain alert for sparks and potential fire hazards, and immediately report unsafe conditions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play an important part in workplace safety, monitor welding activities, and help ensure a safe environment for the team. Pay Rate $ 17 .00 per hour Schedule and Hours Sunday-Saturday 7:00am-6:30pm (overtime required) Fire Watcher Duties and Responsibilities Continuously observe the welding area and surrounding work area while hot work is being performed. Remain alert for sparks, weld splatter, smoke, or signs of fire. Follow established workplace safety procedures and instructions. Take immediate action to control sparks or fire hazards in accordance with established safety procedures. Fire Watcher Qualifications and Requirements Ability to remain focused and attentive for extended periods of time. Recognize and promptly report potential fire and safety hazards. Respond appropriately to sparks or fire hazards according to established safety procedures. Ability to work safely around welding, sparks, heat, and other hot-work activities. Must complete required fire-watch and workplace safety training. Job Type Full-time, temporary Benefits
