Greater Pooler, Richmond Hill, Rincon GA area ( WORK IS ONSITE, can share details by phone) We are seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager, with a background in Supply Chain team Leadership, Supply Chain Optimization and a strong Planning/forecasting/Inventory forecasting and strategy experience profile, with significant Manufacturing setting experience. In this role you will personally lead sourcing, and supplier management activities, and will work with internal teams/leaders to help manage vendor quality, product and material availability and helping to optimize the entire supply chain to help drive manufacturing and supply chain efficiency. Day to day duties include the following: Leading a small team (2-4 ) of supply chain/procurement planning support team members. Perform and lead demand forecasting and supply planning to support business needs. Develop inventory strategies that balance service levels, cost, and working capital objectives. Oversee purchasing and sourcing activities for materials, components, and vendor services. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance and reliability. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve value and supply continuity. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Analyze key supply chain metrics and provide recommendations to support business growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory, procurement, and operational priorities. Qualifications Prefer those with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, although with significant and directly applicable experience, there may be flexibility. This is NOT a junior role, and requires five or more years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, planning, or inventory management, as as team and personnel leadership/direction experience in the same. Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, or product-based environment preferred. Strong vendor management, negotiation, and analytical skills. Experience with ERP, planning, or inventory management systems. Ability to juggle priorities, work professional with all department leaders and coordinate effectively via strong interpersonal skills and documentation abilities.
