About the
Role:
The Receiver plays a critical role in the manufacturing supply chain by ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of incoming materials and products. This position is responsible for verifying shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for quality and quantity, and properly documenting all received items. The Receiver collaborates closely with warehouse, production, and procurement teams to maintain inventory accuracy and support efficient manufacturing operations. By managing the intake process effectively, the Receiver helps prevent production delays and supports overall operational excellence. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role also operates the bale press machine.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds safely. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality against purchase orders and delivery documents. Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate departments for resolution. Organize and store received materials in designated locations following safety and inventory control procedures. Maintain accurate records of all received goods using inventory management systems and manual logs as needed. Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing processes. Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits to support inventory accuracy. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while handling materials and operating equipment. Operate Bale Press Regularly. Collect scrap poly from poly cutting area. Other miscellaneous warehouse housekeeping tasks as needed.

Organizational skills are essential for managing the intake process and maintaining orderly storage of materials, which supports smooth manufacturing operations. Effective communication skills facilitate coordination with procurement, warehouse, and production teams, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and supporting overall supply chain efficiency. Monday-Thursday 6am-330pm Friday 6am-10am as needed
