As Cerebral Staffing , we are seeking a dedicated Material Coordinator II to join our team supporting our client, John Deere , in Dubuque, IA . Whether you bring hands-on factory experience, proficiency in SAP, or a recent business/supply chain degree, we want to hear from you. Material Coordinator II - John Deere (Dubuque, IA) This is an outstanding, highly stable 2+ year contract opportunity paying up to $25/hr , including 1 week of PTO . Operating 100% onsite on 1st shift in Dubuque, IA , you will coordinate the procurement, expediting, auditing, and delivery of parts to ensure production departments stay fully supplied and on schedule.
Position Details & Compensation Pay Rate:
Up to $25/hr (W2) .
Location:
100% Onsite at John Deere ( Dubuque, IA ).
Duration:
2+ Years (Providing solid multi-year contract stability).
Shift & Hours:
1st Shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with potential for overtime based on production line schedules).
Benefits:

Core Responsibilities Material Availability & Expediting:
Work critical shortage reports, resolve inventory errors, and expedite parts to support production operators and maintain uninterrupted assembly.
Discrepancy Resolution:
Collaborate across teams to recommend solutions for material availability gaps, perform inventory audits, and ensure data accuracy.
Change & Deviation Management:
Implement outputs from engineering release and change management processes, managing material deviations and necessary adjustments.
Cross-Functional Teamwork:
Build strong relationships with floor operators, supply management, and logistics to streamline part flow across manufacturing departments. Required Skills & Experience Supply Management /
Manufacturing Background:
Hands-on experience or relevant exposure in supply chain, material logistics, or factory operations.
Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-management skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Analytical Problem Solving:
Strong capability to analyze operational data, evaluate options, and make sound business decisions to resolve material bottlenecks.
Education & Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology, or Engineering OR 2-3 years of equivalent related work experience. What Makes You Stand Out 2+ years of direct Supply Management or Manufacturing experience. Hands-on material flow experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Proficiency in SAP and data analytics tools.
