Job Description

Materials Manager III responsible for leading materials planning, procurement coordination, logistics, inventory control, work packaging, and material distribution for large industrial construction projects. Job Requirements 5+ years of materials management experience on large or mega industrial construction projects. Experience managing large materials teams. Experience coordinating material activities across project controls, administration, construction, procurement, and field teams. Experience with work package planning and Bill of Material development. Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings related to industrial construction materials and equipment. Experience managing project material planning from pre-construction through mobilization, execution, and demobilization. Experience with procurement, expediting, logistics, inventory, and material distribution processes. Preferred Skills Experience across multiple industrial market sectors. Experience with material work packaging and detailed work planning. Experience managing multiple material managers and large field teams. Experience supporting Advanced Work Packaging. Experience with Oracle Procurement and Inventory systems. Experience with materials data management and project reporting. Experience managing surplus material disposition. Job Responsibilities Develop and manage the Project Materials Plan. Lead materials management activities from pre-planning and constructability through project execution and closeout. Coordinate procurement, expediting, logistics, inventory, and material distribution activities. Manage inbound and outbound project logistics. Coordinate materials requirements across construction, project controls, administration, procurement, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams. Support material work packaging and detailed work planning. Develop and maintain Bills of Material for construction work packages. Support Advanced Work Packaging activities. Lead field materials personnel and material management teams. Maintain material tracking systems, documentation, and inventory records. Monitor project material metrics and report status against project requirements. Coordinate receipt, storage, staging, issuance, and distribution of project materials and equipment. Track equipment maintenance and material handling requirements. Manage surplus material identification, disposition, and disposal activities. Support project mobilization and demobilization activities.
Pay:
