Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Receiving Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory intake, and maintaining seamless warehouse operations. This position also requires operating commercial vehicles to transport materials between facilities, vendors and job sites in compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations. The candidate must possess a Class C Driver's License. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation. Safely unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or quality issues and report discrepancies. Accurately enter received materials into the warehouse management or inventory system. Organize and stage materials in designated warehouse locations to maintain efficient workflow and inventory control. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and warehouse area

Transportation Responsibilities:

Operate company commercial vehicles requiring a valid Class C License to transport materials between company locations, vendors, and job sites. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Ensure all loads are properly secured, balanced, and compliant with weight and safety requirements. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and inspection reports as required by DOT and company procedures. Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including DOT compliance and safety standards. Coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse staff, purchasing, and operations teams. Assist with loading and unloading trucks when required. Report vehicle maintenance issues, safety concerns, or incidents immediately. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)/ Class C with acceptable driving record. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment required. Knowledge of warehouse receiving procedures and inventory systems. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
