Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our supply chain operations team. Duties Manage end-to-end order processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all platforms and systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and warehouse management systems. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams to streamline order fulfillment and resolve any issues promptly. Utilize data analysis skills and tools like SQL, Excel, and Tableau to monitor order trends, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements. Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and demand planning activities to maintain optimal stock levels aligned with sales forecasts. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers through sourcing negotiations, contract management, and vendor management practices to secure favorable terms and reliable supply chains. Plan transportation logistics using transportation management systems (TMS), freight management strategies including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), and shipping & receiving processes. Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or delays to develop corrective actions that enhance overall efficiency. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs documentation for global shipments. Support category management initiatives by analyzing pricing strategies, procurement data, and cost-saving opportunities using warehouse distribution insights. Experience Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on order management, logistics, or procurement. Strong familiarity with warehouse operations including inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle. Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, spreadsheets (Excel data analysis), and SQL for reporting purposes. Hands-on experience with transportation planning tools, freight management systems, and shipping logistics including NVOCC or freight forwarding experience preferred. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices within distribution environments. Skilled in negotiation, vendor management, contract administration, and trade compliance procedures. Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, customer service, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite tools for documentation and reporting purposes.
