INDHB Job Description Summary:
Responsible for scheduling, planning, and oversight of material procurement, production, and delivery. Responsibilities Coordinating flow of materials within the manufacturing facility. Coordinating transfer of materials (premium freight) to and from inventory or warehouse. Developing and executing material planning for a product line. Ensuring that all material requirements for assigned programs are satisfied within the allocated time frame. Scheduling and controlling the release of materials. Monitoring material inventory in the plant, in the warehouse, and by critical suppliers. Building up and following up procurement plan realization to ensure they align with business objectives. Tracking and analyzing supplier performance metrics. Collaborating and negotiating with supplier to deliver materials per requirements.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Analytical Thinking:
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
Forecasting:
Knowledge of forecasting tools, approaches and practices; ability to determine product demand and estimate production requirements and loads. Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP): Knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. SAP Mach1 experience is a plus
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years related experience required. Why Client?   • This role will be instrumental to the proper planning of our worktools that we will keep in our Houston CPC.
In this role you'll learn about our EPC/CPC business and how that plays a major role in the overall success of Client. You'll get to work with a diverse group of people and help carry our business forward.
Typical task breakdown:
  • Facilitate the movement of goods inbound
  • Schedule inbound material
  • Resolve MRP exceptions and minimize
  • Work with suppliers to determine when they will ship products
  • Address grief
  • Address finance tickets
  • Product group escalations Interaction with team:
  • Interacting with internal and external stakeholders and various product groups Team Structure
  • Reporting directly to the work director.
6 total on the team.
Work environment:
  • This candidate will sit onsite in the Morton, IL office at 500 N.
Morton Ave. They will interact with my direct team as well as various product groups that sit at other Client facilities. Some travel might be needed to have a better understanding of the products we serve and to gain a deeper understanding of the overall EPC/CPC business.
Education & Experience Required:
  • Years of experience: 2-4 years experience
  • Degree requirement: High School Diploma. Will accept Bachelor's but still requires 2-4 years of experience.
