POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Logistics Lead coordinates and oversees the daily activities of the Supply Chain Logistics Specialist department. Dispatches Team Members engaged in the handling and transportation of materials, goods, and laboratory specimens in a diverse and complex 24/7 operation. Collaborates and communicates with customers/clients. Utilizes dispatch software to efficiently plan workflows. Establishes and maintains accuracy of all pertinent data and work processes and procedures. Evaluates the operations and makes recommendations for improvement. Responds to and resolves customer inquiries, maintains accurate documentation, and assures the transport of materials in accordance with regulatory agency guidelines. Is accountable to maintain a working knowledge of specimen collection and transportation requirements. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma/ GED.
Experience:
2 years of experience in a transportation, supply chain or logistics role. Experience using applications on mobile devices. Experience in resolving conflicts and customer complaints.
Licensure/ Certification:
Valid Class D driver's license with a good driving record and no more than one moving violation within the last two years.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Experience in clinical or healthcare operations Experience with an electronic inventory or shipping system Experience in providing education/training
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
