Job Description

Combined Metals has nine service centers supporting over 3,000 customers in the Aerospace, Defense, Nuclear, Medical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Electrification, Automotive, and Consumer industries. This position is located at Elgiloy Specialty Metals Wire Division (a division of Combined Metals) located in Sycamore IL. The Wire Division manufactures high-performance nickel and cobalt alloys for critical applications in Aerospace, Defense, Nuclear, Medical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Automotive, and Consumer industries.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for router creation. Responsible for creation and maintenance of standard processes. Responsible for material allocation of current inventory. Assist sales with standard lead times at quotation. Responsible for revising in-process routers when required by Process Engineer or Planning Supervisor. Assist Planning Supervisor with the creation and maintenance of the manufacturing parts system. Review and maintain material reservations. Request raw material releases when required for routers. Maintain an understanding of plant capabilities. Review and maintain breakdowns for intermediate sizes. Create breakdowns for special testing. Understand Quality System. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills Well organized Self-motivated Collaborative Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Working knowledge of an MRP System. Associated degree or equivalent work experience. Equivalent work experience is defined as a minimum of two years' experience in either the wire industry or an administrative role. Previous experience of two years in an administrative or planning role.
