Company Description Meever USA, Inc. is part of a globally operating steel products company specializing in the production and delivery of sheet piles, pipe piles, H-piles, and anchorage solutions. The head office, Meever & Meever, is based in Meerkerk, Holland, with stock locations and sales offices across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and the USA. Meever focuses on providing a complete product package for foundation, construction, and pipeline projects. Meever USA, Inc. supplies materials directly from stock or production, emphasizing short delivery times and reliable service for customers in diverse markets. Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Belle Chasse, LA, responsible for managing the flow of steel products from stock and production to customers. This role coordinates shipments, prepares and reviews shipping documentation, and tracks orders to ensure on-time delivery. The Logistics Coordinator works closely with sales, warehouse teams, and external carriers to schedule transportation, optimize freight costs, and manage inventory levels. Daily tasks include updating logistics systems, resolving delivery issues, communicating order status to internal and external stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvement in logistics processes. The role also involves maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and relevant transportation regulations. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to interpret logistics data, monitor performance, and support problem-solving. Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with internal teams, carriers, and customers. Experience with inventory management and supply chain management to coordinate stock, orders, and shipments. Proficiency with logistics or ERP systems, MS Office (especially Excel), and basic reporting tools. Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution, preferably in construction materials is an advantage Knowledge of freight, import/export processes, and relevant documentation is an advantage. 1 year logistics experience or Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
