Role Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time on-site "hands-on" production role located in Hanover, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining production schedules for our Saw and Machining areas to ensure materials, labor, equipment, and resources are optimized to meet customer demand and maintain Inventory objectives. In addition, as time permits, you will learn to operate key equipment supporting labor needs. This position works closely with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Warehouse teams to maintain an efficient workflow. Duties Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules based on customer requirements, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability. Review orders, forecasts, inventory, and production requirements to establish appropriate priorities. Maintain production planning schedules within the computer system. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address changing priorities, material shortages, equipment downtime, or capacity constraints. Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure required raw materials, components, and outside services are available when needed. Communicate issues before they affect production or customer deliveries. Monitor inventory levels and support appropriate inventory control practices. Operate CNC lathes and production saws as available time permits. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with inventory, including loading and unloading materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during production. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Continuing education in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field a plus. Ability to stay on feet for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.

Pay:

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
