Opportunity:

A leading global organization in the industrial technology and automation sector is seeking a Flow Controller to join its Supply Chain Planning team in Foxboro, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a strong understanding of material planning, supplier management, MRP/ERP systems, inventory optimization, and production support . The Flow Controller will play a key role in ensuring the timely availability of materials and components while balancing supply, inventory, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage supply and inventory planning for raw materials, machined parts, and other components to ensure material availability. Review and maintain MRP parameters, lead times, open orders, delivery performance, and quality information . Analyze MRP requirements and future supply forecasts to prevent shortages while maintaining healthy inventory levels. Participate in daily production meetings and communicate material, supplier, delivery, and quality concerns. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support on-time delivery, quality, productivity, and service-level objectives . Serve as an initial escalation point for supplier-related supply disruptions and crisis management. Expedite critical materials and coordinate transportation, logistics, and import processes when required. Support supplier negotiations and collaborate with procurement and global supply chain teams on critical suppliers. Partner with Engineering and Quality teams on supplier and component qualification activities. Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions related to supplier and material quality issues. Contribute to quality, delivery, productivity, and cost-reduction initiatives . Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field OR 2-5 years of relevant experience . Previous experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is highly preferred . Experience in supply chain planning, material planning, procurement, manufacturing, or supplier management. Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills. Ability to work effectively with multiple teams, priorities, and stakeholders. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
