Job Description
Job Description We offer a competitive salary for this role, with an expected range of $79,400/yr
- $100,700/yr. The final offer will depend on your experience, skills, and overall qualifications. General Dynamics

Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, with a focus on housekeeping and personal safety.
- Maintain schedules in a safe manner
- Contribute to hull management safety initiatives.
Project Execution:
- Evaluate the 6-week POW for liens and predecessor and successor requirements
- Work through fab and packaging liens ISO the POW schedule dates
- Attend morning meetings and ship scheduling meetings as required
- Work closely with the manager and trade leaders of the area assigned.
Training and Development:
- Identify and asses risks, issues, and conflicts that may impact schedules
- Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve future hulls.
Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless communication of schedule, cost and labor impacts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Utilize the A3 methodology and BIW's BOS to continually improve quality and results. Required/Preferred Education/Training
- Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, with proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively on cross-functional teams required
- Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal required
- Demonstrated ability to work multiple priorities simultaneously, and to completion required
- Strong understanding of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MACPAC required
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and technical drawings preferred
- Familiarity and proficiency with Smartsheet and MKA
- Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus. Required/Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of experience in Planning, Project Management or Change Management, ideally in a manufacturing or shipbuilding environment required
- 2+ years working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Macpac) required.
