Part-Time or Full-Time Temporary Job Summary:
Production Material Intern supports inventory accuracy and production transactions within SAP. This role assists with inventory counts, adjustments, and the investigation of inventory variances to help ensure system inventory matches physical inventory. The Production Material Intern works closely with Material Coordinators and Supervisors to ensure materials are transacted accurately and timely within SAP. This position also assists with the timely and accurate confirmation of production orders and reviews transactions for errors. The Production Material Intern will adhere to all Bandit safety, quality, inventory, and production guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform inventory counts and cycle counts. Assist with inventory adjustments and variance resolution in SAP. Help ensure production orders are confirmed accurately and on time. Review and correct transaction errors in SAP. Support Material Coordinators, Supervisors, and Production Planning with inventory and production transactions. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Previous experience in SAP preferred. Ability to read a tape measure, basic shop math, and able to read a blueprint. Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring instruments. Basic written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Frequently stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend. Requires employee to work both inside/outside in heat/cold, and/or wet/humid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injury. Frequently lift 50 pounds. Occasionally lift 60 pounds. Bandit Industries, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
