The Operations Planner will play a critical role in building the company's foundational processes, including production scheduling, purchasing, and logistics. This position requires a flexible professional capable of managing a variety of responsibilities in an evolving environment, working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Production Scheduling Review customer sale orders to ensure accurate product cycle planning and coordination with the engineering team. Coordinate product design, manufacturing drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) with the engineering team to ensure products are designed and fabricated as per client specifications. Enter product BOM and associated costs into the ERP system. Purchasing Send out requests for quotes to suppliers and ensure timely and accurate responses. Create and issue supplier purchase orders for necessary materials and components. Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and resolve any potential supply chain issues. Assist sales and quoting teams in setting appropriate product sell prices, ensuring profitability and competitive pricing. Logistics Assist in the packing and shipping of orders to meet delivery schedules. Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and efficient transportation. Collaborate with external logistics providers to optimize shipping routes, costs, and delivery timelines. Collaboration & Cooperation Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that product designs and specifications align with manufacturing and procurement requirements. Participate in regular meetings to discuss operational updates, production schedules, and any potential issues that need resolution. Maintain open communication channels with suppliers to ensure that all parties are aligned on delivery schedules and product specifications.
