Job Description
Know your way around a fab shop? Read drawings all day and know your materials cold? This is a move off the floor that keeps you in fabrication — and we'll teach you the software. The job, in plain terms You're the link between our engineers, our purchasing department, and the shop. When drawings are approved, you turn them into everything the shop and purchasing need to build the job: bills of material, cut sheets, and CNC files. You decide the smartest way to get parts out of material, and you keep several jobs moving at once so the shop never waits on paper. What you'll actually do Build bills of material (BOMs) from engineering drawings — fasteners, pipe, flanges, plate, gaskets, and finishes. Lay out parts for the best material usage — fewer drops, less waste.
