Work Schedule:
Full-time, with the option for a hybrid arrangement (1-2 days remote) following the completion of initial training. Your Impact We are looking for a dedicated Material Planner to join our team at a cutting-edge manufacturing site. You will be instrumental in the launch of our facility, which specializes in advanced power generation for microgrid and data center technology. This role offers the chance to contribute to our growth from the start, ensuring that production remains seamless through effective inventory management and material availability. In this capacity, you will collaborate across departments—including purchasing, production scheduling, supplier quality, and customer service—to execute supply strategies, mitigate shortages, and maintain consistent delivery timelines. Core Responsibilities Create and oversee comprehensive supply strategies aligned with production projections. Ensure necessary materials are ready to meet established production timelines. Address and mitigate supply chain bottlenecks, shortages, and backlogs. Partner with vendors to secure recovery strategies and boost overall delivery reliability. Conduct thorough investigations into supply chain disruptions to implement lasting solutions. Coordinate logistics and shipping needs with suppliers to guarantee timely arrivals. Leverage ERP and SAP platforms to manage supplier schedules and track performance metrics. Monitor raw material levels to help maintain optimal inventory and reduce surplus. Generate performance reports to assess supplier effectiveness and supply chain KPIs. Partner with internal teams across Purchasing, Scheduling, Quality, and Service to streamline operations. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by adhering to all environmental and health protocols. Required Qualifications Associate degree or relevant professional experience. Background in material planning, scheduling, or production coordination. Familiarity with industry-standard scheduling and planning methodologies. Capacity to handle competing priorities within a high-speed manufacturing setting. Competency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Practical experience working with ERP or MRP software. Strong preference for candidates with SAP proficiency. Effective verbal and written communication capabilities. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus. Benefits and Perks Attractive hourly compensation ranging from $29 to $36.
