ResponsibilitiesPURPOSE OF POSITION
Assists supply chain team in procuring materials, supplies, and/or services, with close supervision and oversight.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
(Examples of work performed - responsibilities listed do not necessarily apply to all positions in this job title).- Conducts transactions for inventory management (Kanban, Packing Slips, RMR, Exception Reports, VMI, etc)
- Prepare and process purchase orders (Auto Creates)
- Data organization
- Communicate and coordinate with suppliers
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience required: o
External:
2 years applicable experience. oInternal:
1 year Altec experience, Supply Chain functions preferred. o APICS Certification counts as one year of experience- Microsoft Office suite experience required.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred.
- Oracle/ERP system experience preferred.
