Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Assists supply chain team in procuring materials, supplies, and/or services, with close supervision and oversight.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

(Examples of work performed - responsibilities listed do not necessarily apply to all positions in this job title).

• Conducts transactions for inventory management (Kanban, Packing Slips, RMR, Exception Reports, VMI, etc)
• Prepare and process purchase orders (Auto Creates)
• Data organization
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers
• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience required: o

External:

2 years applicable experience. o

Internal:

1 year Altec experience, Supply Chain functions preferred. o APICS Certification counts as one year of experience

• Microsoft Office suite experience required.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and concepts preferred.
• Oracle/ERP system experience preferred.
