Job Overview Are you passionate about logistics, international shipping, and solving complex transportation challenges? Voltage is seeking a Freight & Logistics Specialist to manage domestic and international freight operations while partnering with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys optimizing transportation networks, negotiating freight solutions, and ensuring products arrive on time across North America. What You'll Do You'll be responsible for coordinating transportation from supplier to customer while supporting both domestic and international logistics operations. Daily Responsibilities Coordinate domestic and international shipments via ocean, truck, rail, air, and parcel carriers. Manage inbound and outbound ocean freight and container movements. Work directly with freight forwarders, customs brokers, steamship lines, carriers, and 3PL providers. Schedule shipments while ensuring on-time pickup and delivery. Monitor shipments from origin through final destination. Resolve transportation delays, freight claims, damaged shipments, and service issues. Review freight invoices for accuracy and approve transportation costs. Negotiate transportation rates and support carrier selection.
