Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain operations team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the seamless coordination of warehouse distribution, transportation planning, and inventory management. Your energetic approach will ensure efficient order fulfillment, optimal vendor relationships, and continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Manage warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate transportation logistics utilizing transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP systems such as SAP or AS400 to optimize freight movement and delivery schedules. Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and category management to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply. Conduct data analysis using Excel, SQL, Tableau, and spreadsheets to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on demand planning, production scheduling (MRP), and inventory stocking strategies to meet customer needs while minimizing costs. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards for import/export activities. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and logistics processes to enhance overall efficiency. Skills Strong data collection and analysis skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis, SQL, Tableau, and supply chain analytics tools. Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems (IMS), and transportation management systems (TMS). Proven ability in procurement, sourcing strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation to maximize profit & loss outcomes. Skilled in freight forwarding including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations and shipping & receiving procedures. Knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs procedures for global logistics. Hands-on experience operating forklifts and practicing manual handling within warehouse environments. Excellent analysis skills with a focus on root cause analysis for process bottlenecks or supply chain disruptions. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with procurement teams, suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
