Job Requirements Fort Bragg, NC Secret Polygraph not specified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Transportation Operations Specialist TEMP K2 Solutions is seeking a Transportation Operations Specialist to support the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) G-4 Transportation Program at Fort Bragg, NC. This position combines transportation operations, fleet management, and commercial driving responsibilities in support of military transportation requirements. The successful candidate will support the movement of personnel and equipment, manage transportation requests, coordinate vehicle operations, and operate commercial vehicles in support of USASOC mission requirements. Primary Responsibilities Operate commercial buses and tractor-trailer combinations in support of USASOC transportation missions. Provide transportation support for military personnel, equipment, and administrative transportation requirements. Receive, review, process, and monitor transportation requests for HQ USASOC and subordinate commands. Evaluate transportation requests to maximize utilization of transportation assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinate transportation requirements using government transportation systems and databases. Maintain transportation records, dispatch logs, and operational documentation. Support management of approximately 1,000 government-owned and leased non-tactical vehicles. Coordinate vehicle dispatch operations and maintain accurate vehicle utilization records. Support preventive maintenance scheduling and tracking of fleet assets. Transport non-tactical vehicles between maintenance facilities, motor pools, and designated locations. Assist with fleet telematics monitoring and reporting. Process Transportation Account Codes (TACs) and related transportation documentation. Provide professional customer service and transportation support to military and government personnel. Support after-hours, weekend, holiday, and mission-essential transportation requirements as needed. Maintain operational readiness to support time-sensitive transportation missions. Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance OR ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Passenger (P) Endorsement.
- HazMat (H) Endorsement.
- Ability to operate buses and tractor-trailer combinations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain military installation driving privileges.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Prior military transportation, logistics, or movement operations experience.
