About the Role As a Warehouse Logistics Associate, you will play a critical role in the flow of materials through our facility, ensuring that production stays on schedule and customer orders are fulfilled with precision. You will be responsible for the safe movement, organization, and preparation of metal components, utilizing various industrial tools and heavy machinery to drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to transport goods safely throughout the warehouse. Execute shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound inventory and preparing outbound loads for transport. Perform essential metal finishing tasks, including cleaning parts with grinders and assembling kits to meet project specifications. Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy by pulling and staging materials for production and customer fulfillment. Uphold a safe and organized work environment by adhering to all industrial safety protocols and housekeeping standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and according to established quality guidelines. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes with pendant controls. Proficiency with hand tools and basic measuring instruments like tape measures. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs throughout a shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex safety and operational instructions. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a metal fabrication or heavy industrial environment. Technical proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
