Job Description

As a Distribution Center Office Associate, you will be the vital administrative link that facilitates the flow of information between our carriers and floor operations. In this role, you will partner with managers across the building to facilitate the handling of merchandise as it is moved, stored and dispatched. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail, and a passion for service. A day in the life as a Distribution Center Office Associate... Work in the receiving office or yard shack, tracking and checking in drivers and trailers Performs a variety of clerical duties such as filing, record keeping, and copying Partners with engagement team to order food and supplies for associate events Maintains and replenishes office supplies Conducts information retrieval and data entry , including manually entering productivity hours for PM reporting Compiles, organizes, and maintains records of business transactions Maintains moderately complex indexes and files Answers phones and takes messages Gathers information from accounts, applications, or spreadsheets and transfers into a standard format or database Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling, sorting, and verifying information. Performs other related clerical duties as assigned Crossdock additional responsibilities: Monitors and maintains customer service email account and special request tracking Audits home delivery proposed charges Contacts customers prior to their booked date and closes order once picked up Handles escalated customer service issue resolutions What you'll bring to the table... Proficient at typing and basic computer operation Intermediate English Language proficiency Good communication skills both verbal and written Clerical, word processing, and office skills High attention to detail Maintains an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines as outlined in the Company Code of Conduct and Associate Policy manuals We'd love to hear from you if you have… Experience in a clerical position and/or Administrative Support preferred High School Diploma, GED, equivalent vocational training, or associate's degree
