This role is primarily responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments, preparing and coordinating outbound deliveries, completing required ERP and shipping documentation, and ensuring sensitive and high-value products are packaged and handled appropriately. The position also provides backup support to the Inventory team with stocking, kitting, work-order material preparation, cycle counts, and other inventory activities as needed. Through careful handling, accurate documentation, and dependable coordination, this role helps maintain efficient operations and ensures materials and finished products move safely and on schedule. In Your First Year You Will (What Success Looks Like) First 30 Days — Learn the Process
- Learn shipping, receiving, inventory, and ERP procedures.
- Receive, count, document, and transact incoming materials with guidance.
- Verify incoming shipments and communicate discrepancies.
- Route materials to Quality Assurance when inspection is required.
- Learn packaging requirements for sensitive components.
- Become familiar with shipping software, carriers, and documentation.
- Begin providing backup support for stocking, kitting, work-order preparation, and cycle counts. By 60 Days — Perform Core Responsibilities Independently
- Independently process routine incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Complete receiving and shipping ERP transactions.
- Prepare products for shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
- Provide back-up inventory support as needed. By 90 Days — Take Ownership
- Manage daily shipping and receiving with minimal supervision.
- Prepare domestic and international shipments.
- Ensure full compliance with Clear Align, customs, carriers, and customer requirements.
- Identify and communicate issues proactively.
- Prioritize shipments based on customer and production needs.
- Provide reliable backup coverage for inventory activities. By 6 Months — Become a Trusted Logistics Resource
- Coordinate complex shipments.
- Maintain accurate ERP and shipping records.
- Build partnerships across Manufacturing, Purchasing, Planning, and QA.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Support inventory, kitting, work-order preparation, and cycle counts when needed. By 12 Months — Strengthen Material Flow
- Serve as a dependable logistics resource.
- Anticipate priorities before they impact operations.
- Support continuous improvement.
- Handle sensitive materials with exceptional care.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to safely lift 50-100 pounds.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and packaging requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing, inventory, warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment.
- Experience handling delicate or high-value products.
- ERP system experience.
- Experience packaging ITAR controlled products & defense hardware
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipping procedures is a plus.
