Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our supply chain operations team. In this role, you will be the vital link ensuring seamless order processing, inventory accuracy, and efficient logistics coordination. Your proactive approach will drive customer satisfaction by managing order fulfillment, optimizing warehouse distribution, and collaborating across departments to enhance overall supply chain performance. Duties Manage the entire order lifecycle from receipt through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness using ERP systems and warehouse management systems. Coordinate with procurement, sourcing, and vendor management teams to align inventory levels with demand planning and production schedules. Oversee shipping & receiving activities, including freight management, 3PL (third-party logistics) providers, and transportation planning using transportation management systems. Conduct root cause analysis on order discrepancies or delays, implementing process improvements to prevent recurrence. Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau, SQL, and Excel for inventory control, demand forecasting, and supply chain analytics to identify trends and optimize stock levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including warehouse operations, customer service, and logistics management to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery. Maintain compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards while practicing in international trade regulations when applicable. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management or warehouse operations with a strong understanding of inventory management systems like AS400 or ERP platforms. Demonstrated proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, spreadsheets, Excel data analysis, and SQL for reporting purposes. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory management tools such as MRPs (Material Requirements Planning). Hands-on experience with warehouse distribution, materials handling equipment including forklift certification preferred. Strong negotiation skills for vendor management and procurement activities; experience in category management is a plus. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer service excellence. Ability to practice manual handling safely while managing shipping & receiving tasks; knowledge of trade compliance and international trade regulations is advantageous.
