Summary A Bus Ops Info Coord is responsible for importing Scheduling data into the Smart Bus System, managing, processing and creating data export for Bus deployment. Responsibilities also include working closely with various departments to gather, analyze, and disseminate Smart Bus data and reports to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency. Strong analytical, communication, database processing and organizational skills are essential for this role. Roles and Responsibilities Project management for special projects related to implementation and administration of Bus Service Planning computer systems, including support of the Smart Bus system. Responsible for schedule coordination and manpower availability of assigned project aide(s) and/or field data collector(s). Being an ADMIN for the mission critical Smart Bus System, responsible for the oversight and modification of Bus Service Planning systems related to on board navigation, as well as automated stop and destination messages. Meets with Directors, planners, garage, customer service and GIS staff to discuss operational and customer information issues relevant to destination sign messages, time points, transfer points and bus stops. Responsible for the coordination and prompt updates of information related to bus service via system interfaces. Assists in training BSP staff on department procedures related to Bus Service Planning computer systems as assigned.
