Monitor project costs continuously to maintain budget control; implement cost management strategies including material cost estimating and cost control measures. Review construction drawings regularly for accuracy, completeness, and potential conflicts; update schedules accordingly to reflect project changes or delays. Prepare comprehensive spreadsheets for tracking project budgets, estimating material requirements from blueprints, and analyzing bid data. Skills Proven experience managing projects as a construction estimator with a strong understanding of estimating processes for commercial construction. Skilled in construction management software including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for data analysis and reporting. Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
