Microsoft Office Shipping and receiving inventory management Quality systems Associate's degree Production documentation Full Job Description Description Permanent position for a Production Planner supporting the build of ruggedized electronic assemblies for defense programs. Maintain the master shipping schedule and the active material shortage list. Coordinate between stockroom and purchasing to identify, expedite and clear material shortages. Publish the daily production and shipping status synopsis. Set receiving and incoming inspection priorities against current production demand. Serve as the coordination point between production planning, purchasing, receiving and the production floor. Support implementation of engineering change notices and engineering change requests against open work orders. Post revisions to planning records, release controlled documents and notify affected departments. Generate status reports and charts for schedule analysis and follow-up. Requirements Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering document control or production planning within a manufacturing environment. Experience expediting material shortages across purchasing, stockroom and receiving. Experience releasing and revising controlled documents against open work orders. Working knowledge of a documented quality system (ISO 9001:2015). Strong MS Office skills, with Excel used for schedule and shortage tracking. United States citizenship or permanent residency required. MRP/ERP experience a plus. Exposure to Lean manufacturing concepts a plus. #ERGx
