Job Description

Job purpose: The Supply Chain Intern supports the Supply Chain team by assisting with the coordination of materials, inventory, and product movement to help ensure timely and efficient operations. The intern will assist with maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory levels, preparing reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the intern will work closely with team members to learn best practices, contribute to process improvements, and develop a strong understanding of supply chain operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Supply Chain team with Lab Computing Standards processes and procedures while learning organizational standards and best practices. Help ensure approved Lab Standard products are accurately listed on applicable e-commerce websites. Assist with monitoring inventory levels for Lab Standard products and help maintain appropriate stocking levels under the guidance of the Supply Chain team. Assist with creating new product records, including descriptions, pricing, vendor information, and inventory attributes within our ERP system. Learn and assist with ERP processes while supporting data accuracy and continuous process improvements. Assist in gathering and analyzing data for customer delivery performance reports and other supply chain metrics. Perform other duties as assigned to support the Supply Chain and Operations teams. Maintain a safe, organized, accurate, and professional work environment while following company policies and procedures. Assist with customer returns.
Job Qualifications:
A High School diploma is required. Excellent email, phone communication and math skills. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Technical knowledge of computing products. Possess strong organizational skills and be able to effectively multi-task. Knowledge of Customer Service policies/procedures is preferred.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
